TEACHER'S AIDE QUALIFICATIONS

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS AN ENTRY-LEVEL TEACHER'S AIDE
As directed by the special education teacher, you'll be responsible for the following:
<ul>
<li>Assisting the assigned students with educational and therapeutic services</li>
<li>Providing compassionate direct care to assigned students during classroom time, including eating, toileting, and personal hygiene</li>
<li>Monitoring students' progress and providing input to the special education teacher during evaluation periods (quarterly reports, six-month reviews, etc.)</li>
<li>Learning about Massachusetts curriculum frameworks</li>
<li>Helping the special education teacher maintain accurate student records</li>
<li>Leading activities and direct care services on teacher planning days</li>
</ul>
