Essential Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;

<li>Ensure meals are served at scheduled times each day.  &nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to oversee daily kitchen operations and provide clear direction to volunteers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Instruct volunteers on safe food handling practices and adherence to cleanliness standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hairnets, gloves, and aprons.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain and organize kitchen, food storage locations, and all equipment to ensure all is in proper working order and to meet all Health Department standards.  &nbsp;</li>
<li>Support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper food storage and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all kitchen and food service areas.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop positive relationships with centers volunteers, guests, and other agency staff.  &nbsp;</li>
<li> Act as a member of a cohesive team.  &nbsp;</li>
<li>Clean and maintain floor drains weekly.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Attend mandatory agency trainings, including Trauma-Informed Care, Housing Focused, De-escalation, Suicide Prevention, CPR, and more.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participate in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Follow all agency protocols for security, safety, and sanitation to maintain a clean and secure environment for guests and staff.&nbsp;</li>
