Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Chowbus for sales transactions, processing cash and card payments accurately.
- Manage food handling responsibilities by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards, and preparing light food items when needed.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to ensure health standards are met.
- Handle sales transactions with accuracy using cash handling skills and basic math proficiency.
- Support beverage service and drink preparation to ensure timely delivery during busy periods while managing time effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service background preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Chowbus for processing transactions smoothly.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food industry roles is desirable but not required.
