<li>Perform MIG welding on various metals, adhering to project specifications and quality requirements</li>
<li>Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and fitting</li>
<li>Set up and adjust weld equipment</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols</li>
<li>Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools to verify dimensions</li>
<li>Grind down deficient welds and rewelds</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area</li>
</ul>
Available Shifts:
<ul>
<li>Training extends up to three weeks and will take place from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday. Upon completion, the standard schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM with occasional overtime scheduled on a Friday.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>2+ years of MIG welding experience (carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum of varying thickness highly preferred)</li>
<li>Previous experience in metal fabrication is a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of blueprints, tolerances and weld symbols</li>
<li>Experience working in ISO 9001 certified environment is beneficial</li>
