The OFE Coordinator will work closely with Owner’s Rep PMs, General Contractors, design teams, and vendors to manage owner-furnished equipment (OFE) and long-lead items while also supporting technical coordination, drawing review, schedule alignment, and field readiness. This is a hands-on role suited for an engineer or early-career project manager coming from a GC or EPC background who is looking to step into an owner-side position on a long-term, mission-critical project.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Act as an owner-side project engineer / coordinator supporting OFE and long-lead equipment across multiple buildings or phases</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors, GC teams, and design partners to track fabrication, delivery, installation readiness, and turnover of OFE</li>
<li>Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and equipment documentation to ensure alignment with design intent and construction sequencing</li>
<li>Support MEP coordination, with a primary focus on electrical systems (switchgear, UPS, generators, distribution, etc.)</li>

Chief Estimator – Electrical Subcontractor
Location: Westchester County New York Metro (with project travel)
Compensation: Up to $200,000 base (DOE)
 
 
 
 
An established electrical subcontractor known for delivering quality electrical services on complex commercial, high-rise, retail, healthcare, institutional and multifamily projects is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead and grow their estimating function. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced electrical estimating professional who thrives on high visibility, large scopes, and strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead and oversee the entire estimating department for electrical scopes</li>
<li>Drive strategy for bid selection, pricing philosophy, and competitive positioning</li>
<li>Manage estimating teams on complex, large-scale commercial and high-rise projects</li>
<li>Develop, review, and approve electrical estimates from conceptual through detailed phases</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships for pricing and scope clarity</li>
<li>Mentor and develop senior and junior estimators to strengthen departmental depth</li>
<li>Partner with leadership on preconstruction strategy, value engineering, and proposal preparation</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>10+ years of electrical estimating experience in subcontracting or large GC environments</li>
<li>Proven track record leading estimating teams on medium and large electrical projects</li>
<li>Strong command of takeoffs, assemblies, labor &amp; material pricing, and subcontract scopes</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic pre-bid decision-making skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with current electrical estimating software</li>
</ul>
