Tunstall Engineering Group of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has an immediate opening for a full-time Structural Engineer who will apply structural engineering skills and finite element modeling in practical "Construction Engineering" applications such as Bridge Demolition Plans, Bridge Erection Plans, Temporary Retaining Wall Designs, Anchor Designs, Design-Build Bridge and Wall designs, and CADD.

PRIMARY DUTIES OF THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER POSITION
<ul>
<li>Collaborates with and provides structural engineering support to contractors.</li>
<li>Designs and develops details that will be used by contractors in the field.</li>
<li>Performs structural engineering calculations.</li>
<li>Analyzes and designs steel or concrete beams, slabs, culverts, walls, and other structures utilizing programs such as STAAD, LPile, Shoring Suite, MathCAD, Excel, Microstation, or PennDOT Design Programs.</li>
<li>Performs structural finite element modelling. </li>
<li>Creates CAD sketches.</li>
<li>Assists engineering team with preparing construction documents and working on projects and tasks.</li>
<li>Travels to and observes construction sites.</li>
</ul>
 
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this position you do not need to have any professional engineering experience, although it is helpful. 
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program.</li>
<li>Passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.</li>
<li>0-5 years of professional engineering experience.</li>
<li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) License preferred, but not required.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills/Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li>
<li>Proficient or familiar with structural analysis and computer modeling software such as STAAD MathCAD, MicroStation, or AutoCAD.</li>

About This Position:As an HVAC Installer for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As an installer, you may be tasked with the following: Layout, assemble, and install variety of sheet metal duct systems including: square, rectangle, round, and spiral. Candidate should also have experience with flex and fabric duct systems.Operate mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and other related field tools.Install, test, diagnose, and repair mechanical and refrigeration systems, system components and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation.Read and Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and Diagrams.Train and direct HVAC apprentice(s) to assist in installation of HVAC, Mechanical, and refrigeration systems.You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor.
