· Performs Quality Control inspections of all systems.
· Performs Preventative Maintenance and service calls as required during shift.
· Acts as senior representative at the Building(s) during respective after hours shift.
· Cross-trained to operate and maintain one or more systems, which provide the facility’s heat, air-conditioning (cool, humidify, dehumidify, filter, and circulate air), refrigeration, steam or high-temperature water and electricity.
· Performs air volume/exhaust surveys and readings and assists with system-wide air balancing.

We are a full-service Design-Build company. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
We are seeking a Commercial Drywall and Framing Mechanic (specializing in Carpentry Work, Metal Stud Framing, and Drywall) to join our team at Kings Bay Naval Base, GA.In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in our construction efforts by performing a variety of physical and skilled carpentry tasks. Using a range of hand and power tools, you'll help build and shape quality spaces while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient worksite. What You'll Be Doing:
<ul>
<li>Working with stud metal framing systems, drywall, and other materials in commercial construction</li>
<li>Working with ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile)</li>
<li>Assisting fellow craft workers on-site as needed</li>
<li>Cleaning and preparing job sites, digging trenches, and setting up braces for support</li>
<li>Erecting scaffolding, clearing debris, and safely disposing of non-hazardous materials</li>
<li>Operating construction equipment and supporting its upkeep and maintenance</li>
<li>Following all safety protocols in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education for this position</li>
<li>Five or more years of experience with carpentry required (can be a combination of rough, finish carpentry)</li>
<li>Two or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in commercial construction required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred</li>
<li>Experience with framing and installing steel metal frames required. </li>
<li>ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) experience preferred. </li>
<li>CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred</li>
<li>Specific training or certificates in the following are preferred:
<ul>
<li>Forklift/Manlift training and certificate</li>
<li>Trenching and shoring training</li>
<li>Fall protection training</li>
<li>Confined space training</li>
<li>Lockout/Tagout training</li>
<li>Scissor lift/boom lift certificate</li>
<li>EM-385 40-hour</li>
<li>OSHA 10-hour</li>
<li>OSHA 30-hour</li>
</ul>
