Job Details
 Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design. This individual will also provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects reporting directly to their project manager. Applicant must be able to communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs, produce reports in technical writing format, and correspond with other team members to complete work in a timely and efficient manner. Must have the ability to coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits. Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Professional Engineering License Required Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required. Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred. Must have strong communication and writing skills. Experience with design of land development projects preferred. Job DescriptionRoofing Project Manager - Commercial New Construction
SUMMARY: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing commercial construction projects in the low-slope roofing category including sheet metal installation and masonry restoration (as needed) by the scope of the contract.
Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding your assigned contracts, planning &amp; phasing work, managing superintendents, managing a budget and costs for the project, ordering and timing material deliveries, analyzing job-cost reports, providing estimates of costs to complete the project, as well as change order cost estimation.
You will use your commercial roofing management and safety knowledge proactively as a champion for safety company-wide by demonstrating best practices, and by working with the President on safety training and strategic initiatives.
As a Senior Project Manager ,you will learn our process and technology, set an example for professionalism and leadership within the operations department by taking ownership of your projects as capital investments, and help the company continually move towards growth and profitability goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Comprehension of construction law (prime and subcontract agreements), comprehension of construction documents (drawings, specifications), experience creating submittals, creating Supervisor's manuals, purchasing &amp; receiving materials, managing the installation of product (labor/material), cost controlling, subcontract management, change order management, issuing and filing for warranties, and composing construction project closeout submittals;&nbsp;Commercial roofing knowledge and experience in single-ply, asphalt, cold-applied, hot-applied, and metal products a must.
Areas of accountability include but not limited to:

<li>Represent the company with clients, GC's, architects, consultants, and property managers</li>
<li>Perform independent takeoffs for projects during pre-construction to set budget</li>
<li>Manage all RFI's, submittals, and change orders</li>
<li>Procure materials and issue purchase orders</li>
<li>Manage Superintendents and Foremen</li>
<li>Manage numerous large commercial projects simultaneously</li>
<li>Manage material deliveries, schedules, staging and phasing with Superintendents</li>
<li>Manage Pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases</li>
<li>Provide operational direction, leadership, and accountability in the field and office</li>
<li>Provide safety direction; coordinate trainings for field and management staff as necessary</li>
<li>Track equipment in the field, assist with safety equipment inspections, incident response</li>
<li>Track and report work progress and percentage of completion on multiple projects</li>
<li>Manage job profit gain/fade by identifying and adapting for unforeseen production issues</li>
<li>Assist leadership team in identifying excellent and poor performance in the field</li>
