Davis Carter Scott, Tysons, Virginia, is currently seeking a full-time Construction Administration professional with 5-years relevant experience to join an outstanding team and work on a diverse portfolio of large-scale commercial projects including some of the largest high-rise multi-family and mixed-use residential projects in the DC metro area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Lead role for Construction Administration process for assigned projects</li>
<li>On-site visits and observation of construction progress for conformance with Contract Documents</li>
<li>Attends construction meetings and prepares field reports</li>
<li>Collaborates with lead professionals on project (internal and external) to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations and requirements</li>
<li>Perform Shop Drawing reviews and Request for Information (RFI) evaluations</li>
<li>Timely response to Client and Contractor questions and RFI’s</li>
<li>Manages the project process with project consultants</li>
<li>Issue Architect’s supplementary information</li>
<li>Review change order proposals</li>
<li>Review and approval of material samples/submittals and substitution requests</li>
<li>Punch list preparation and / or review of contractor’s punch list</li>
<li>Work within the budgeted time allocated for construction phase</li>
<li>Directs issue resolution</li>
<li>Communication and reporting to internal and external team to enhance project quality </li>
</ul>
KEY QUALIFICATIONS | SKILLS
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree, Architecture is required. Architectural Construction Management, Associate degree, Architecture Technology, from an accredited program will be considered.</li>
<li>MINIMUM Five (5) years of relevant field operations experience in construction administration in a variety of large scale commercial and multi-family projects and commercial building types is required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of project process to include codes, construction, jurisdictional process (zoning and building permits)</li>
<li>Technical knowledge to include understanding of requirements and relationships between building designs, systems, materials, trades and methods of construction.</li>
<li>Computer skills must include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Revit skills desired.</li>
<li>Knowledge/experience with Newforma, Bluebeam and web-based construction administration programs such as Procore, and E-Builder</li>
<li>Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and diplomacy</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, highly organized</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects</li>
<li>Ambitious, creative, independent, and professional</li>
<li>Driver’s license required for travel to project sites and meetings</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work in the United States. </li>
