We partner with multiple property management companies and oversee and handle unit turnovers. Demos and remodels as well as outside work consisting of but not limited to siding, soffit, fascia, concrete, decks, fencing and more.

Job Title: Construction Estimator
Reports To: Owner
Employment Type: Full-time
Location and Schedule: Primarily office-based with occasional travel to construction sites. Standard Monday-Friday work schedule, with potential extended hours to meet deadlines. 
Position Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for accurately predicting costs related to materials, labor, and project expenses, ensuring the company secures successful bids and contracts. This role involves detailed project planning and analysis, preparing estimates, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including the Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will stay current on industry standards, estimating software, and company practices while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive business information. This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to company values, and the ability to contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Prepare and compile detailed estimates for construction projects.</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely submission of bids.</li>
<li>Attend project meetings and support the execution of design and build project plans.</li>
<li>Track project performance and refine cost estimates in the database.</li>
<li>Analyze job cost reports and assist in project closeout meetings.</li>
<li>Assist with customer relations, develop proposals, and establish estimating procedures.</li>
<li>Stay current with industry changes, including wages, materials, and overhead.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality on all company practices, strategies, and personnel matters.</li>
<li>Support training of sales department estimators and project management teams.</li>
<li>Communicate with vendors, contractors, architects, and engineers as necessary.</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>5-10 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.</li>
<li>Proven experience in preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead.</li>
<li>Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.</li>
<li>Prior experience in the HVAC, Electrical, plumbing and general contracting, or construction industry is a plus</li>
<li>Experience Estimating for government contracts preferred.</li>

Exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and environmental factors at construction sites. Adherence to safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Frequent client, contractor, and vendor interactions in-person and via email/phone.

We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Construction Safety Lead to support site operations and ensure compliance with all site and client Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements. This role is ideal for safety professionals who hold a CHST, STSC, or equivalent BCSP certification with proven experience providing site safety leadership for mechanical scopes of work such as HVAC, piping, plumbing, rigging, and equipment installation.
 
Key Responsibilities

<li>Provide field safety supervision</li>
<li>Implement and enforce EHS practices and project-specific safety requirements on-site.</li>
<li>Conduct site safety audits, toolbox talks, and routine safety meetings.</li>
<li>Deliver safety orientation and training for site personnel.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Minimum 3-5 years of safety management experience on active new construction projects.</li>
<li>Direct experience supporting mechanical contractors or mechanical scopes of work (HVAC, piping, plumbing, rigging, welding, confined space, etc.).</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction regulations.</li>
<li>Skilled in incident investigations, hazard recognition, and corrective action implementation.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence safe work practices across all project levels.</li>
</ul>
 
Preferred Experience
<ul>
<li>Hands-on safety leadership with large-scale mechanical systems installation.</li>
<li>Familiarity with hot work permitting, lockout/tagout (LOTO), rigging and lifting plans, confined space entry, and welding/fabrication safety.</li>
