Job Description Summary We are seeking a warm, organized, and collaborative early educator to serve as our Assistant Director at our child care center in Woodstock, Vermont (The Mill School) while also leading in the classroom. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends direct work with children and families with behind-the-scenes support for staff, licensing, and program operations. You’ll spend part of your week in a lead teaching role, helping shape a nurturing, child-centered classroom. You’ll also support the Director with administrative tasks, staff coaching, and compliance — helping our program run smoothly and collaboratively. Your expected hours will be completed between 7am and 5pm Monday through Friday but your hours will be dependent on center needs.
