We are looking for a skilled Mobile Engineer to perform technical and mechanical functions property plant and equipment to achieve energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, and engineering services to the building and its tenants. This person will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings in the area.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Comply with all EPA, OSHA &amp; ASHRAE rules, requirements, procedures and industry and Company safety guidelines. </li>
<li>Perform all necessary preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control and building management systems; conduct monthly maintenance inspections as assigned and completing them on time </li>
<li>Conduct Site inspections to include roof, mechanical &amp; electrical rooms as assigned </li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including: HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, and preventive and corrective maintenance tasks </li>
<li>Communicates effectively and clearly often with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors </li>
<li>Provides recommendations/guidance on equipment upgrades and facility improvements </li>
<li>Daily local travel between assigned properties </li>
<li>Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance at all times, repair or replace worn or stained uniforms as needed </li>
<li>Maintain an inventory of all tools, equipment, and vehicles issued. </li>
<li>Interact with client/tenants in a professional manner </li>
<li>Immediately inform Regional Operations Manager of any problems. </li>
<li>Assist in coordinating the completion of any construction projects. </li>
<li>Assist in natural disaster recovery efforts </li>
<li>Must be able to read and write English in order to understand manuals, procedures and written instructions </li>
<li>Must be comfortable in using mobile device or laptop to access work order system, building systems, and use email </li>
<li>Handle other duties as assigned </li>
</ul>
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
<ul>
<li>Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies and/or job related training and experience </li>
<li>2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training </li>
<li>CFC training and certification or ability to obtain certification for the type of refrigerant serviced, preferred </li>
<li>Continuing education in field </li>
<li>Strong mechanical aptitude </li>
<li>Ability to work independently with routine supervision </li>
<li>Basic computer skills necessary to operate Building Automation Systems </li>
<li>Familiarity with OSHA, NEC and NFC codes and regulations </li>
</ul>

What You’ll Do

Within their assigned territory, Account Executives will call on manufacturing warehouses and distribution centers focused on selling loading dock equipment and services. The role prospects new opportunities, develops meaningful relationships with Operations Managers, and conducts site surveys to focus their equipment sales and improve customer operations. The role also acts as an educator supporting product training, teaching customers and prospects about the products/services offered and partnering with suppliers on knowledge development and solution opportunities. This is a sales job so selling is the ultimate responsibility of any Account Executive at Miner, Ltd.

<li>At least 4 years of direct business-to-business sales experience. If you’ve sold in the commercial, building, industrial, or similar settings this role is a great fit for you!</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate cold calling techniques, prospecting, and previous sales achievements.</li>
<li>Expert communicator, we are talking verbal connoisseur, someone who is able to speak the customers language and translate what doesn’t make sense into a sales opportunity.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is required.</li>

The exciting news about being a Service Professional is that you can start where your current skills best align with the level of work. Miner offers four levels of Service Professionals so that you can gain, advance, or refine your dock and door abilities.
<ul>
<li>Apprentice Level (Level I) – best for candidates who have a passion for learning and a willingness to train. Experience working in any related field is a plus, but most importantly an understanding of mechanics and the ability to fix a variety of products is needed.</li>
<li>Service Professional Level (Level II) – this is the sweet spot for anyone who has at least a year of experience in a related field and knowledge of the basic concepts of electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting. Service professionals are well attuned to customers and can communicate effectively while in the field.</li>
<li>Senior Level (Level III) – possesses experience in basic repairs in the AED, Highspeed, or gate fields with a proficient understanding of hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting. Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience in this field.</li>
<li>Expert Level (Level IV) – are the masters of their craft, skilled in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting with a mechanical mindset, leadership skills and extensive knowledge in dock leveler and door repairs. Candidates will possess at least 8 years of experience.</li>

 What You’ll Do
Service Professionals are responsible for hands-on customer care. They troubleshoot, service, inspect, install, and repair industrial equipment of all shapes and sizes. There is paperwork involved (what job doesn’t have it), as a Service Professional there is expectation that work orders be maintained on paper and digitally. The role operates a vehicle regularly to visit different customer sites and plays a major part in maintaining safety and OSHA compliance for the Company.

What We Look For
Qualified candidates answered “Yes” to all of our questions AND will have in their toolbox, the following skills:
<ul>
<li>2-4 years of relevant experience…we care more about how you execute, the quality of your work product, and if you can make an impact to Miner customers.</li>
<li>Ability to repair industrial facilities, including doors, loading docks, and dock-levelers.</li>
<li>Ability or a desire to learn welding, steel fabrication, and electrical. If you have Hydraulic and Pneumatics experience, awesome, call it out on your submission so we know where to find you!</li>
<li>Ability to take direction and work independently while on the road for hours each day.</li>
<li>Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. The ability to think through complex situations critically is a must.</li>
<li>Technical school training and OEM certifications are desired but not required.</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, with nights, weekends, and Holidays. Overtime opportunities are available, so a willingness to work is what we need.</li>
<li>A clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License for the state of employment is required.</li>
