<li>Must have an OSHA 30-Hour Certification, OSHA 500 preferred.</li>
<li>American Red Cross First Aid Safety Certification required.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills (Word &amp; Excel) are desirable as well as experience with using construction safety software applications for preparing and documenting reports including site location mapping utilizing ArcGIS applications.</li>
<li>Must be familiar with preparing Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) for WRA site or field visits by both A/E and CMI personnel, when required by the client or agency, in accordance with their Safety Program and OSHA Requirements.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver’s license; good driving record and personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned construction sites.</li>
<li>Must be able to work independently</li>
<li>Must have experience and knowledge in construction site safety requirements.</li>
<li>Must be experienced with accessing confined spaces and able to climb ladders and scaffolding to access remote high-level work areas as well as traversing rough terrain for long distances to inspect construction work sites. </li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements (Essential Functions):
This position requires the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks in the field as part of the essential job functions. Duties may include:
<ul>
<li>Walking and navigating across rough or uneven terrain such as mud, rocks, grass, dirt, steep hillsides, heavily wooded areas, and other unpaved surfaces</li>
<li>Must be able to perform site audits in high-level bay and river crossings, which may involve climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, or poles to access remote high-level work areas requiring fall-protection harnesses. (e.g., Chesapeake Bay Bridge and future Key Bridge construction)</li>
<li>Performing physical activities such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing</li>
<li>Remaining in a stationary position—either standing or sitting—for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers</li>
<li>Must be able to perform site audits in high-level bay and river crossings (e.g., Chesapeake Bay Bridge and future Key Bridge construction)</li>
<li>Must be able to function safely in an environment with potential risks, including, but not limited to those described in this document.</li>
</ul>
The work environment may include exposure to a range of environmental conditions, including high and low temperatures, precipitation, and other outdoor elements. Work may also be performed in noisy conditions or confined/enclosed spaces.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
