BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The Mobile Fleet Mechanic must be able to perform major and minor tune-ups, maintenance (including welding), and safety inspections, on gasoline, diesel, and other mechanical equipment. Must also be able to work on manual transmissions, differentials, suspensions, chassis systems, cooling, and fuel, electrical and hydraulic systems. Fleet mechanic will be responsible for both heavy and light fleet vehicles and will regularly respond to locations outside of a shop environment to make mobile repairs. This position is required to participate in after hours and weekend call-out on a weekly or monthly basis.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general direction and reports to the Fleet Manager. Receives daily work assignments from Lead Mechanic.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in shop, fire station bay or in a field service setting. Can be exposed to varying weather conditions. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will own the&nbsp;customer experience in the service lane and are the first point of contact for the client as it relates to their vehicle status, repairs and diagnostics. Well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service.&nbsp;
Responsibilities:

Answer&nbsp;service calls, set and confirm&nbsp;appointments

Write&nbsp;repair orders

Act as a liaison between the technician and customer
