Parts Manager Responsibilities:

<li>Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department</li>
<li>Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff</li>

You are …
Performs the duties of multiple SMT positions to prepare, verify or place components on Printed Circuit Boards including the positions of Tray Cut, Tray Load, Reel Load, Tray and Reel Verification, and Hand Place. Acts independently to identify bottlenecks or priority work and completes the tasks necessary to meet production goals. Fills in for individuals on PTO, breaks or lunches.

What you’ll do:

<li>Read and understand manufacturing procedures and other necessary documentation</li>
<li>Review all documents on file for the build in the internal system.</li>
<li>Segregate discrepant parts and assure they are properly identified.</li>
<li>Record all part errors, discrepancies, and questions in the “Hold” database</li>
<li>Stop the process if conditions do not ensure quality product</li>
<li>Check work of previous process and verify quality of your own work. Report to Leadership any repetitive discrepancy in products.</li>
<li>Update the internal Database system</li>
<li>Complete the documentation for all work done in the assigned sections.</li>
<li>As needed, complete equipment set up and maintenance. Complete and sign all records and logs</li>
<li>Tray Cut</li>
<li>Regularly clean and inspect trays.</li>
<li>Sort SMD components and assign each to trays, reels, or hand place. Update status in software to develop a tray layout and generate additional placement files</li>
<li>Using laser cutter, print tray layout and adhere to bare tray. Print report</li>
<li>Tray Load/Verification Station</li>
<li>Using the written specifications from the customer (BOM), internal software, information contained in the holds system and part datasheets, load components into trays</li>
<li>Verify the position, presence and polarity of the component is accurate.</li>
<li>Inspect trays for missing parts, shorted parts, wrong parts or part values, incorrect part markings, wrong packages, incorrectly loaded parts, ICs with bent leads, other damage, or parts that don’t fit the footprint, etc</li>
<li>Reel Load/Verification Station</li>
<li>Determine correct feeder size, for each SMD component assigned to reels, and place in appropriate magazine slot. Load component reels into magazines and feed tape into feeders.</li>
<li>Inspect and verify components in magazines against the report. Check for missing parts, wrong parts, incorrect part values, incorrect part markings, wrong packages, incorrectly loaded parts, damaged parts, or parts that don’t fit the footprint, etc. </li>
<li>Unload reels and ensure any leftover components are placed back in original packaging.</li>
<li>Hand Place Station</li>
<li>Set up reflow oven and select correct reflow profile for each circuit board reflowed</li>
<li>Using the written specifications from the customer (BOM), internal software, information contained in the holds system and part datasheets, hand place SMD components onto circuit boards</li>
<li>Reflow circuit boards.</li>
<li>Perform pre-reflow and post-reflow inspections on SMD components according to the BOM, and assembly documentation and identify any issues presented on PCB</li>
<li>Record the inspection results on traveler and give feedback to machine operators</li>
</ul>

Job Description 
The Automotive Service Manager, reporting to the Store Manager, will be responsible for setting the highest standards of excellence and personifying our core values to support operations in the service department of your store. This will involve creating a highly-motivated team environment, and working closely with the Service Team to improve their performance through hands-on presence in the store by efficiently developing and coaching team members, and executing store processes &amp; procedures.
Primary Responsibilities&nbsp;include (but are not limited to):

<li>Specific duties for this customer service role include, but are not limited to:</li>
<li>Providing support in the store recruiting process by assisting the Store Manager on final employment decisions</li>
<li>Supervising technicians and service personnel, planning and scheduling their duties, assigning work, and following up on completion of assignments</li>
<li>Coaching service department teammates on all operational issues of working the process within the ISI systems and service standards</li>
<li>Working directly with customers in areas of sales, service, customer opportunities, adjustments, etc.</li>
<li>Evaluating performance and productivity of all service department personnel</li>
<li>Managing parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring it complies with parts and Tire Purchase Program as well as updating and restocking all in-house parts when needed</li>
<li>Ensuring store safety, including the use of and maintenance of safety equipment</li>
<li>Ensuring equipment/hardware layout and positioning within the service department</li>
<li>Supervising shop area, equipment and teammates for compliance with company safety procedure</li>
<li>Coaching personnel on enforcing wheel torqueing process</li>
<li>Ensures that proper inspections are being conducted</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
We are looking for:

<li>Outstanding leadership and store management skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment</li>
<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication</li>
<li>Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role</li>
<li>Proven track record of exceeding business objectives</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance</li>
