<li>Inspect and verify components in magazines against the report. Check for missing parts, wrong parts, incorrect part values, incorrect part markings, wrong packages, incorrectly loaded parts, damaged parts, or parts that don’t fit the footprint, etc. </li>
<li>Unload reels and ensure any leftover components are placed back in original packaging.</li>
<li>Hand Place Station</li>
<li>Set up reflow oven and select correct reflow profile for each circuit board reflowed</li>
<li>Using the written specifications from the customer (BOM), internal software, information contained in the holds system and part datasheets, hand place SMD components onto circuit boards</li>
<li>Reflow circuit boards.</li>
<li>Perform pre-reflow and post-reflow inspections on SMD components according to the BOM, and assembly documentation and identify any issues presented on PCB</li>

This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of various vehicles and machinery, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Technician will diagnose, repair, and install components as instructed using required hand and/or power tools. Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, performing routine maintenance, knowledge / proper usage of shop tools, following safety protocols, and documenting work performed.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Understanding of the product and how the product is expected to perform by the end user. Understanding of mechanical engineering and metal fabrication, as well as hydraulics and pumps / water valve systems. Knowledge of diesel engines / transmissions, air systems, as well as electrical systems and other major components.
Diagnosing:
Identifying the root cause of technical issues using diagnostic tools and problem-solving skills
o Routine Maintenance:
Performing routine checks, cleaning, safety inspections, preventative maintenance, to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and to prevent breakdowns
o Tooling:
Knowledge of shop tools is required, including but not limited to: hand tools, jacks, welders, lifts, presses
o Safety Protocols:
Adhering to all safety standards set forth by the company, as well as the ability to perform job duties in a safe manner
o Documentation / Communication
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor to discuss diagnostics, repairs, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (trade school in truck repair a plus)
- Experience: Technician shop experience required (heavy-duty diesel / truck experience a plus)
CERTIFICATIONS:
- CDL B (if not held must be willing / able to attain)
