We are a high-energy, fast-paced telehealth company seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, this person will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of our sterile compounding pharmacy initiatives, including the construction of a sterile compounding facility in Florida. This is a highly visible role that will have a profound impact on the success of the entire business.

Position Overview: 
The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall management and operation of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards. This role provides leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding activities, quality assurance, and staff performance. The PIC collaborates closely with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient workflows and deliver a high standard of patient care and customer service.
The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with a minimum of 4–5 years of professional pharmacy experience, including at least 2–3 years in a sterile compounding pharmacy environment, and demonstrates strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The vendor will provide an (1) one Onsite Representative (OSR) who is trained, certified, and well versed in the Par Excellence weight-based point of use (POU) system. This includes technical expertise on all systems, hardware, software, hardware, troubleshooting, and reporting to the DC VAMC ensuring system optimization and function. The OSR will work full-time at the Washington DC VAMC.
PAR Excellence is a technical specific system that requires onsite support to maintain the system functionality. The tasks completed by the vendor provided OSR will ensure that the installed PAR Excellence system operates at the fullest possible capacity lending to improved expendable supply accountability and efficiencies in the inventory process for clinical items throughout the medical center.
1. Troubleshooting, Item Registration, and Item Deregistration. 2. Serves as the weight-Based POU workhorse for all bin/scale maintenance and troubleshooting needs at the medical center. 3. Physically registers and deregisters items at the Bin/Scale location after the inventory management specialist adds the item to Par Client. 4. Educates/trains secondary and at the discretion of the medical center Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO).
5. Collaborates with VISN 5 Supply Chain Analyst and Works Directly under the medical center CSCO and maintains corporate knowledge through weekly communication with the helpdesk. 6. Serves as project assistant on larger weight based POU projects (e.g., Expansion Type Projects; New Facilities) and directly oversees smaller weight based POU Projects (e.g., registration of replacement stock keeping units (SKU) and deregistration of recalled products; broken controllers; bin/scale error increase) 7. Confirms that the daily Quantity Hand Replacement macro are run and tracks the monthly schedule detailing who will run it and when it will be run. 8. Confirms weekly Add/Edit POU macro are run and tracks the monthly schedule detailing who will run it and when it will be run. 9. Works directly with VAs Office of Information and Technology (OI&amp;T) for controller, Par Ex Database, and any non-human error incident. 10. Religiously analyzes registration errors (e.g., packaging weight discrepancy) and unit of issue errors (e.g., Par Ex registered to an EA and GIP registered to a BX). 11. Maintains operational structures in primary and secondary inventory points and constantly looks to prevent upstream issues. 
12. Provides a weekly weight based POU docket of actions and deliverables to the VISN 5 Supply Chain Analyst and medical center CSCO. 13. Consistently looks to maximize closet space through strategic bin/scale best fit analysis and works directly with weight-based corporate to replace broken materials at no cost to the VA 14. Maintains a clean workspace and mobile troubleshooting station that can be immediately deployed to correct a range of errors 15. Works collaboratively with VISN 5 Supply System Analysts
 
Experience/Education Requirements:
1. Par Excellence Onsite Representative (OSR) must have completed the PARs On-Site Resources Program and received their certification prior to beginning work at the DC VA Medical Center. The OSR will serve as the technical expert in all PAR Excellence systems including PAR admin, PAR client, and PAR Vison. 2. The contractor must provide a minimum of one (1) full-time On-site Representative with at least two (2) years of experience providing Par Excellence onsite support at a medical center. 3. Experience working as an OSR at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center is preferred but not required.

PAY RATE:&nbsp; $16.17 to $18.80/hour&nbsp;DOQ (Up to 1,400 hour per year). GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Farm Center Interpretive Supervisor, work activities in this position primarily involve assisting in the daily operation of the Farm &amp; Mill by caring for and maintaining farm livestock and crops, caring for park buildings and grounds, promoting public interest and appreciation for the farm, and recommending improvements. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general direction of the Farm Center Interpretive Supervisor. Position works independently and exercises some judgment and discretion in completion of duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned. • Performs milking duties for dairy cattle according to policy, practicing safe and hygienic stockmanship at all times • Operates, repairs, and maintains farm equipment including tractors, utility vehicles, manure spreaders, scrapers, and planting and harvesting equipment as needed • Assists in the harvest and storage of farm crops and livestock feed such as hay, straw, and silage. • Prepares rations and feeds and waters livestock according to policy • Cleans and sanitizes all aspects of dairy parlor system according to policy • Cleans and maintains dairy barns, pens, and facilities • Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery, including milking parlor systems • Performs other farm maintenance chores (cleaning stalls, animal grooming, fence repair, etc.) as needed • Assists in daily care of all farm livestock • Assists in preparing animals for and assisting in the delivery of offspring • Grooms, clips and trims animals for exhibition • Maintains indoor facilities and outdoor spaces, including captive animal and trail maintenance, as needed • Promotes public interest in the farm program through various activities and publicity • Answers questions and assist visitors when requested • May serve on committees • May assist with special events The list above is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Farm Maintenance – Milker - Level P3: • Agriculture related college coursework and/or related service in farm maintenance work preferred • Knowledge of the principles use in farm animal care and maintenance • Knowledge of farm crop production management • Must maintain a valid Michigan driver's license and an acceptable driving record. • Knowledge of the principles of good farm management • Ability to promote and maintain cooperative working relationships with schools, park patrons, and other employees • Ability to operate trucks, tractors and heavy farm equipment • Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain • Ability to load, transport and unload materials/livestock • Ability to use carpenter tools • May be assigned to work in other parks and districts as needed and if necessary • Ability to work in all weather conditions • May be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs, including special events, evenings, weekends &amp; holidays • Ability to perform essential duties MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Farm Maintenance – Milker - Level P4: • Meets all the minimum qualifications of a Farm Maintenance - Milker – Level P3 • Associate degree preferred from accredited college within zoology, biology, agriculture, animal science, horticulture, natural resource management, or a related field • Two (2) years of related experience with demonstrated progressive responsibilities • Successful completion of the HCMA Milker Training Program and Supervisor Authorization to milk cattle without supervision • Successful completion of the F.A.R.M. training modules for Dairy Care MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Farm Maintenance – Milker - Level P5: • Meets all the minimum qualifications of a Farm Maintenance - Milker – Level P4 • Bachelor’s degree preferred from accredited college within zoology, biology, agriculture, animal science, horticulture, natural resource management, or a related field • Three (3) years of related experience; with one (1) year of Huron Clinton Metroparks Interpretive Services Farm Maintenance experience with demonstrated progressive responsibilities. TOOLS &amp; EQUIPMENT USED: Personal computer including data base, scheduling, publishing, spreadsheet, power point, and word processing software; calculator, copy &amp; fax machines; phone, GPS unit, radios, automobile and heavy farm equipment, and milking parlor systems.
