Vice President, Investing & Portfolio Management

Vice President, Investing & Portfolio Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Recommend investments and implement strategy decisions in liquidity portfolios that are managed on behalf of both internal and external clients. Lead detailed analysis on US macroeconomic scenarios, as well as trade evaluation as it relates to US government liquidity portfolios. Requires: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, History, Economics, Financial Engineering, or related field and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with: portfolio management, risk management and oversight of liquidity portfolios; developing investment theses for new investment opportunities and subsequently presenting them to senior leadership; compiling and presenting detailed, regular competitive analysis to senior team members; analyzing portfolio risk management systems to identify and resolve booking errors and/or system generated issues pertaining to trade booking; negotiating bilateral transactions and compiling documentation, such as term sheets; and leading investment update calls – both with external clients and internal teams (sales, portfolio management and other internal investment teams). Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $180,000 - $270,000.
