Technology ManagerMissouri Rural Electric Cooperative (MREC) is seeking a Technology Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of all company-owned technology, headquartered in Palmyra, MO. Position Overview: As the Technology Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Cooperative's Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording of energy usage across all metering points. There will be collaboration with Operations and Billing teams to efficiently manage data in our Meter Data Management System (MDMS). Maintaining our website and Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems is a must. This position will manage the company's mobile communications networks, two-way radio communications, tablets, and company-owned cell phones. Must be knowledgeable in Cybersecurity and working with our state and national organizations on security issues. The Technology Manager reports to the General Manager/CEO. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary or technical training preferred). Qualifications: Experience in IT management and network operations is preferred. Knowing the RUS specifications, the National Electrical Code, and safety regulations is advantageous. Have strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Experience in a utility is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license. This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
