Inviting applications for the role of Technical Project Lead

Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Technical Project Lead (multiple positions) in New York, NY to manage and lead project team and coordinate efforts with client team, serving as single point of contact. Provide technical direction and supervision to offshore team, review their deliverables, and keep track of progress. Define technical design and effort estimations using applicable estimation techniques and tools. Participate in review, comparison, and selection of new IT solutions. Identify business needs and opportunities and manage the development of solutions to problems through discussions with client and other stakeholders. Gather and understand client functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables for the teams to work on. Allocate resources and decide timelines required to accomplish goals of the project and customer expectations. Participate in daily scrum calls, participate in the creation of user stories, feasibility analysis, effort estimation, and prioritization of change requests. Participate in the daily team calls and provide update to servicing project manager for incidents. Responsible for the design, development, testing, optimization, and maintenance of the full range of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions, including the analysis, design, development, and deployment of BI data models, dashboards, reports, and subject areas. Collaborate with the architecture and data analyst team to understand the business requirement and translate them into data models. Prepare, maintain, and publish data model diagrams, dictionaries, scripts, and metadata files in accordance with project methodology and collaboration guidelines. Implement, test, and maintain logical and physical models for reporting and analytical databases and tune reports, loaders, table design, indexes, and stored procedures to deliver required performance. Design and develop complex SAP HANA views, SQL queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, functions tables, views, and ETL packages in support of large management reporting requirements using Oracle Databases, Informatica, and SAP BO, among others, to facilitate business decision making using critical data insights using Tableau. Create technical programming specifications from business documents, create internal program documentation, and participate in code reviews. Develop BI reports and dashboards utilizing industry best practices and UI standards. Guide and mentor organization with best practices in report and dashboard design and development. Assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing, and other ETL-related activities. Create automated processes to validate and translate data into our in-house data warehouses. Review requirements and data models and translate into ETL design processes that effectively populate data warehouse and data mart tables. Build tailored strategy approach, manage existing projects, implementation and maintenance. Model and test using different methodologies by leveraging the knowledge of proprietary tools

Education – Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Technology, or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in New York, NY with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with no additional travel required. $150,550 to $158,077 per year.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $150,550 to $158,077. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
