Staff Engineer

Staff Engineer w/ Spotify USA, Inc. NY, NY. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed w/in normal commuting distance from the Spotify USA, Inc. office in NY, NY. Lead the design, dvlpmnt, & deployment of (primarily iOS app-based) solutions for Spotify products w/ a critical focus on performance, resilience, security, instrumentation, & scalability. Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Software Engg or a rel field of study & 7 yrs of exp in Software Engg or a rel role. Must have 7 yrs of exp w/: Objective-C programming & interoperability w/ Swift; System design methodologies & implementation; & Source code version control using third party tooling such as GitHub or Bitbucket. Must have 6 yrs of exp w/: Software testing methodologies; & industry standard build & delivery tools (CI/CD). Must have 5 yrs of exp w/: Swift programming language; Software architecture & design of new iOS frameworks for large scale iOS apps; & Networking for low latency & high performance incl the use of the Protobuf protocol.
