Staff Counselor/Eating Disorder Specialist
STAFF COUNSELOR/EATING DISORDER SPECIALIST 2 positions available at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Provide individual and group therapy to students with eating disorders (EDs), using proven counseling techniques to diminish/eliminate dysfunctional behavior patterns related to food/eating. Develop treatment plan/goals based on psychological & physical assessment. Make changes to treatment plan/goals as necessary. Ensure students with a history/current ED are equipped with a treatment team. Work with Medical Primary Care treatment team to ensure wrap-around care. Serve as primary consultant for Counseling Center for ED policy/procedures. Provide training to campus community to proactively address student mental health concerns/ED. Conduct neuropsychology assessments. Min reqs: PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a closely related field, or Master's in Counseling from CACREP accredited program, plus two years of direct clinical experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have completed a clinical practicum involving college counseling and hold NH license in Psychology or be license-eligible within two years of hire.
