Social Sciences and Assessment Librarian

Kent State University Libraries seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking librarian to join our Student and Research Success team as our Social Sciences and Assessment Librarian. The successful candidate will promote a culture of assessment within University Libraries and lead efforts on assessment related to library services, including access, outreach, and instruction. We are looking for a self-motivated colleague with a commitment to inclusive and equity-minded assessment and the ability to successfully coordinate and/or support multiple assessment projects simultaneously. In addition, the incumbent will provide outreach, instruction and research support for assigned academic units, and engage in commonly shared public service duties.

The Social Sciences and Assessment Librarian will join a team that fulfills a variety of public services functions, including instruction and research, statistical consulting, access services, copyright and digital scholarship, specialized branch libraries, and the multi-media studio.

This position is a 12-month, Tenure Track faculty position. Starting salary: $64,042 at Assistant Professor rank.
