Inviting applications for the role of Project Manager.

Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Project Manager (multiple positions) in New York, NY to develop detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports for technical projects related to data support systems across applications and technologies (e.g. Java, Informatica, ETL, Big Data, Hadoop, etc.). Track key project milestones and adjust project plans or resources to meet needs of customers. Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, as well as that they adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations. Report on project progress throughout the project lifecycle. Obtain business and information technology sponsor approvals and coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Communicate major milestones and identify potential project risks. Conduct regular status meetings to review project activities and manage prioritization procedures. Set and manage client expectations, escalated issues and changes. Measure progress toward goals and revise project objectives. Document change control procedures. Evaluate the impacts and risks of changes from multiple perspectives, assign tasks that are necessary to reduce or eliminate those considerations, determine tentative implementation dates, and tabulate results of the implementation. Develop methods to measure customer satisfaction and obtain feedback at critical milestones and project completion to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for time, cost, and results. Anticipate and identify tasks required to support change processing including performing change impact analysis, assigning tasks to project team members, communicating complex issues, verifying that tasks are completed, and reviewing implementation status. Responsible for changes to applications software and systems environments to ensure that changes to the environment have been properly analyzed and adequately coordinated and do not adversely impact the company’s ability to meet published customer service level agreements. Contribute to implementation success and technical system stability by using change methodologies that ensure the reliability of business and operations information management systems. Manage the creation and application of project control techniques that reduce risk from changing technological infrastructure hardware, automation, systems software, or applications systems. Manage the most complex and strategic projects under minimal to no supervision. Responsible for planning of resources for tasks, allocation, estimation, scheduling, and risk management. Responsible for budget management, including costing, tracking of status, and resolving cost issues. Ensure projects and products are supportable and sustainable in production.

Education – Position requires a Master's degree in Engineering (all), Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. As an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all), Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's experience in the job offered or related occupation is also acceptable. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable. Position headquartered in New York, NY with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 25% of travel required. $155,542 to $163,321 per year.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $155,542 to $163,321. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
