Inviting applications for the role of Network and Security Track Lead I
Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Network and Security Track Lead I (multiple positions) in New York, NY to ensure the existing infrastructure and implemented technologies meets client requirements for functionality, performance, and reliability. Provide leadership for the Network and Security team, identify work priorities, and ensure effective communication within the team and with external partners/stakeholders. Liaise with different technical departments during Business and Usual and project activities. Ensure business area satisfaction with regular interaction and by managing expectations, understanding service level expectations, and delivering Infrastructure solutions in a timely and cost-effective fashion. Ensure that client's best practices are followed for the delivery, implementation, and maintenance of systems by employee, partners, and contractors. Provide network support across remote branches and data centers. Support distribution center operations by facilitating the design of solutions to complex network-related technical problems with knowledge in routing, switching, security, and wireless areas. Support Information Services department strategies through development of technological solutions. Design low voltage power and design documents using Microsoft Visio tools for new distribution centers, intermediate distribution frame (IDF) space buildouts, and backbone infrastructure to support hundreds of wireless RF technologies. Design, test, and deploy Proofs of Concept for Silver Peak SD-WAN technology using multiple MPLS carriers and internet breakout. Provide key recommendations to design and account for the migration to the SD-WAN technology. Implement Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) as a solution using Spine and Leaf architecture. Deploy and upgrade new Nexus Spine and Leaf switches in data centers and ensure they are in compliance with DG standards of engineering. Design documents for branch’s network topology to deploy Silver Peak and Riverbed Steelhead in distribution centers for WAN optimization and look out for vulnerabilities and apply fixes by upgrading OS. Engineer IPSEC VPN tunnels between DG and third-party network devices and migrate old VPN connections from IKEv1 to IKEv2 protocol. Perform staging, configuration, and building network devices in lab environment before shipping out to new branches for production deployment. Troubleshoot complex P1 and P2 issues using technical expertise of various layer 2 and 3 technologies such as physical layer (ARP, MAC), DNS, DHCP, NTP, routing, and switching (IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, port-channel, VRRP, HSRP, SNMP, STP). Work on network automation using json and Python scripting. Ensure improvised security control on any end user device by using ClearPass Policy Manager (Aruba CPPM) which enforces strict AAA and 802.1x authentication policies for wireless, wired, or VPN access.
Education – Position requires a Master's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, or related field and 4 years of experience in a related software engineering, programming, or computer systems analyst position, or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree, or a foreign degree equivalent, in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, or related field and 8 years of post-Bachelor’s degree experience in the job offered, a related software engineering, programming, or computer systems analyst position, or related occupation is acceptable. Position headquartered in New York, NY with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 5% of travel required. $180,003- 189,003 per year.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $180,003- 189,003. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
