Manager, Technical Accounting

Manager, Technical Accounting w/ Spotify USA, Inc. NY, NY. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed w/in normal commuting distance from the Spotify office in NY, NY. Support accurate & timely reporting of Spotify's public company financial statements in accordance w/ IFRS & SOX, w/ particular focus on ensuring appropriate acctng conclusions are reached for revenue contracts across all of Spotify's revenue streams. Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Acctng, Fin, or a rel field & 7 yrs of exp in the job offered or rel role. In lieu of a 4-yr Bach deg, employer will accept a 3-yr Bach deg from an accredited U.S. or foreign university. Must have 7 yrs of exp w/: implementing or auditing financial internal controls, incl process design & control operating effectiveness, for a multinational company or subsidiary. Must have 6 yrs of exp w/: reviewing complex revenue contracts or other legal documents & evaluating bus & acctng implications for internal company or as part of audit team. Must have an active US CPA license or have a foreign equiv active acctng license or designation issued by a foreign gov't or foreign prof'l acctng body. Sal: $162,052-
