Lead Engr, Enterprise Arch

Equinox Media, LLC. seeks Lead Engr, Enterprise Arch (NY, NY) to: Develop containerized micro services & complex web apps/solutions for EA systems; Ensuring org standards for design, architecture, coding & tooling; Lead design & solution of major initiatives, conduct code reviews & pair programming, & mentoring/supervising team output. Telecomm: 1 remote flex day per week w/in commuting distance of NYC office. REQ: BS in CompSci/Info Sys, Comp/Electronic/Elec Engr, or related tech discipline & 5 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s exp. as Analyst/Dev/Eng. or similar role designing/developing Java-based software (will accept Master’s degree in stated fields & 3 yrs exp. designing/developing Java-based software); Exp. must incl 3 yrs: Design & implement Spring-based microservices using open source frameworks, incl. Spring boot, Spring REST, Spring Security; ReactJS & NextJS; YARN; Maven or Gradle; Docker; Design & develop apps using AWS cloud services (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SES, SNS, s3, Secrets Manager & EC2/ECS); RDBMS (MySql or PostgreSql); DynamoDB & DocumentDB; Exp must incl 2yrs.: CI/CD methodologies & Jenkins; JUnit, Mockito, TestNG & LambdaTest for testing of apps; code analytics w/ SonarQube & Jacoco; APM tools (New Relic or Elastic APM), log aggregation tools (SumoLogic or Elk); AWS (Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail & Athena); design software & product security, troubleshoot of memory leaks & debugging of resource deadlocks; Exp. must incl 1yr.: performing software architecture analysis & leading POCs initiatives.
