Job Summary:
The Filter Specialist will clean and maintain pool filters at client’s homes and associated facilities for the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cleans and maintains pool filters for clients and associated facilities for the company.
- Manually cleans pool filters at client’s homes based on assigned cleaning schedule.
- Cleaning may involve backwashing, dismantling and deep cleaning of filters.
- Completes and maintains daily logs per branch requirements.
- Resolves client or customer problems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Extensive understanding of swimming pool filters.
- Mechanical and manual labor skills related to aquatic facilities and equipment.
- Math skills to calculate chemical additives and ratios.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to maintain logs and records.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have adequate sight and hearing to properly interpret water analysis, equipment readings, and complete recordkeeping.
- Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning filters.
