Meuser, Yackley & Rowland, P.A. (MYR) is a respected Minnesota law firm representing injured workers and first responders statewide. We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow within a supportive legal environment.

Compensation

$19.50–$31.25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. This is a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of Minnesota workers’ compensation cases
• Draft correspondence, forms, and basic pleadings
• Organize and maintain files, medical records, and case documentation
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Manage deadlines, schedule appointments, and ensure timely follow-up
• Track case progress and help keep attorneys informed
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the team

Preferred Qualifications

(Preferred but not required—training available for the right candidate)

• Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree
• Prior experience in workers’ compensation, personal injury, or litigation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating with clients by phone and email
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; generally, tech-savvy
