Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Brunswick, Ohio. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will play a key role in analyzing data, optimizing reporting processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel expertise, particularly within a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and manipulate large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.
• Revamp and improve existing spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Download, review, and interpret various reports to identify trends and anomalies.
• Streamline profit and loss (P& L) reporting to enhance efficiency and clarity.
• Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with the team to implement FP& A strategies tailored to a manufacturing environment.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to develop robust analytical models and tools.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards throughout all reporting processes.
• Provide administrative support and documentation for analytics projects.
• Work closely with stakeholders to address data-related challenges and opportunities.• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
• Strong ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets efficiently.
• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP& A) concepts and processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to automate reporting tasks using relevant tools and techniques.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in fraud analytics and investigation is a plus but not mandatory.
