Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Bilingual Onsite Manager to oversee daily staffing operations at our Bloomfield, CT location. This role is responsible for managing on-site staff, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring operational compliance, and supporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with staffing industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing teams and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities (Onsite Distribution Center Focus)
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact between the client, workforce, and internal support teams
- Oversee daily on-site operations within the distribution center to ensure productivity, attendance, and service level expectations are met
- Manage on-site workforce scheduling, headcount, timekeeping, and attendance tracking
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll submission for all on-site employees
- Monitor employee performance and address coaching, corrective actions, and escalations as needed
- Conduct daily check-ins, shift start meetings, and ongoing employee communication
- Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and job readiness specific to the DC environment
- Enforce client policies, company standards, and safety procedures on-site
- Perform regular floor walks to monitor work conditions, productivity, and safety compliance
- Partner with Safety and HR teams to report incidents, manage modified duty assignments, and support investigations
- Address employee concerns promptly and professionally to maintain morale and retention
- Track and report key on-site metrics such as attendance, turnover, and performance trends
- Maintain accurate employee records and on-site documentation
- Support client requests related to staffing levels, schedule changes, and operational needs
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to improve on-site operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of staffing industry management experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Proficient in basic computer systems and staffing-related software
