PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a respected aerospace leader to hire an experienced Product Repair Technician at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. In this critical role, you’ll repair, modify, and validate complex aerospace systems—ensuring vehicles and components meet strict flight-worthiness, safety, and regulatory standards.

Role Summary
As a Product Repair Technician, you will assemble, disassemble, modify, and repair aerospace vehicle systems and components. Your work will ensure failures are corrected, upgrades are implemented correctly, and systems are validated for operational use.
Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (12 Months)
Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Second Shift 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
(First shift during initial training)
Pay Rate: 47.78/hour (42.69/hr + 5.09 H&W)
What You’ll Do Day to Day

Assemble, disassemble, modify, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems and components

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Isolate mechanical and electrical faults and perform corrective repairs

Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment

Perform validation and verification testing of repaired systems and components

Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight-worthiness requirements

Document repairs, tests, inspections, and modifications to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance

Oversee assembly, disassembly, and repair activities as required

Support and oversee training activities for technicians

Work under general direction while exercising technical judgment
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
-
Typically 4+ years of related aerospace, aviation, or systems repair experience

Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Experience performing inspections and validating repairs to flight-worthiness standards

Ability to accurately document work and follow established procedures
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications

Vocational, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline

Experience working in regulated aerospace or defense environments

Prior experience overseeing or mentoring other technicians

Familiarity with bench testing, system configuration, and validation processes

Pay Details: 47.78 per hour
