Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Preventive Maintenance Coordinator to join our team, ensuring seamless and efficient scheduling and planning of maintenance activities. Dive into a role where you will become an essential part of maintaining and enhancing our operational capacity.

Your Daily Mission:

  • Assess non-urgent work requests, define the project scope, and carry out site inspections to pinpoint task requirements.
  • Calculate the necessary labor hours, distinct skillsets, materials, and special equipment to ensure proactive task completion with safety and efficiency in mind.
  • Compile relevant technical documents like drawings, specifications, and spare parts lists, ensuring all materials are ready before job commencement. Coordinate the availability of special tools when necessary.
  • Organize and manage the work order backlog, prioritizing upcoming actions and maintaining a ready backlog above 80%.
  • Embrace the continuous improvement mindset to refine job plans for precision and efficiency.
  • Lead weekly planning meetings with production staff to discuss work order priorities and necessary maintenance adjustments.
  • Create comprehensive weekly technician schedules, emphasizing prioritized planned tasks and preventive maintenance.
  • Enhance work order planning and scheduling through regular process evaluation and the application of maintenance metrics.
  • Keep detailed records essential for robust maintenance analysis and reporting.
  • Instruct site employees on CMMS usage, ensuring its effective operation and application.

The Skills You Bring:

Must-Have:

  • Technical Associate Degree with 1-3 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling or a blend of equivalent experience such as 5–10 years as a machine repair technician.
  • Insight into industrial manufacturing settings.
  • Strength in electrical/mechanical comprehension.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems.
  • Outstanding verbal communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Capacity to foster and maintain professional relationships.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Drive to cultivate leadership skills.
  • Background in job plan creation, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience in project management or capital projects.
  • Certifications like CMRP, Green Belt, or STS.

Work Environment:

Roles involve regular standing, walking, and manual tasks, with occasional sittings. Be prepared to lift/move over 50 pounds and work in industrial conditions prone to noise, exposure to weather elements, and potential electrical risks.
