$22.00 – $26.50 per hour | Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Schedule

Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Regular Schedule (after training): Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
Rotating on-call responsibilities required
Pay
-
$22.00 – $26.50 per hour, based on experience
What You’ll Do
This role supports multiple buildings across our campus and includes a mix of preventative maintenance, repairs, and grounds work. No two days look exactly the same.
Maintenance & Repairs
-
Perform general building maintenance for nursing homes, child care centers, and retirement apartments

Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting issues

Replace fixtures, outlets, lighting, pipes, windows, appliances, and building components

Assist with fire drills, inspections, and safety checks
-
Maintain and repair equipment, motors, sensors, and mechanical systems
Grounds & Campus Support

Maintain outdoor areas (mowing, trimming, weeding, general cleanup)

Assist with moving furniture or room transitions as needed
-
Support construction or renovation projects when applicable
Team & Mission Support

Respond to work orders using a computerized maintenance system

Work independently while also supporting multiple buildings and departments
-
Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, children, and coworkers

Participate in emergency response situations, including weekends or holidays if needed
What We’re Looking For
Required
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
At least one year of experience in two or more of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, HVAC, or painting
-
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
-
Ability to work on-call and respond to emergencies
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, fire systems, and building-wide mechanical equipment

Comfort using power tools and hand tools

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn a work order system

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
