Position: Scope Repair Technician 2
Location: Tamarac, FL 33321
Duration: 6-month contract to direct hire
Pay rate: $20/hr - $24/hr (based on experience)

Required Skills & Experience
- 4-6 + years of previous device endoscope repair experience
- Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies with minimal guidance
- Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization, Hand–Eye Coordination
- Ability to interpret schematics, prints, illustrated parts, diagrams and technical manuals

Job Description
This position is responsible for executing the daily activities of the Endoscope Service Environment, including the service on new orders as well as the reservice of items that have failed in the field.
- Perform the repair of endoscopes in accordance with company and OEM procedures and work instructions (Level 2 Technicians can perform level 1 repairs and the following repairs: light guide lens replacement, repair/replacement of flexible mechanism adjustment, replacement of air/water channel, control knobs, fiber optic light bundle, repair detached cable at control body, rebuild angulation system (cable replacement & bending section replacement), replace insertion tube and rewire video connector (replacement of ribbons and/or circuits).
- Adherence to established manufacturing and material control policies and procedures in compliance with ISO quality standards.
- Assist in the modification of detailed work instructions for the manufacturing, assembly and test of endoscope practices.
- Assist in the diagnosis and service of repaired endoscopes that have failed in the field.
- Comply with ISO quality standards including capturing assigned data for analysis and reporting to the customer and suppliers.
- Documents and maintain accurate records of all evaluations, repairs, adjustments, calibrations, etc. performed on all equipment.
- Adheres to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Management System procedures, and all safety policies and procedures.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
