We are seeking a highly skilled Technician to perform preventative and basic maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using computerized tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative and basic maintenance on company trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using computerized tools and equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating parts.
- Disassemble and reassemble major components, including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Maintain logs of equipment condition and work performed.
- Assist in the yard when all other work is caught up.
Essential Skills
- Experience as an auto technician with mechanical skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months or more experience as a mechanic working with trailers, large trucks, or heavy equipment/diesel engines.

Work Environment
This role involves outside work, requiring candidates to work in various weather conditions. Additionally, technicians will work in the truck bay as needed to assist with repairs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
