Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled VDC Project Lead specializing in Plumbing to join our dynamic team. This remote position will involve leading virtual design and construction efforts, ensuring the integration of mechanical systems within plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and VDC processes, with a passion for innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the VDC process for plumbing projects, ensuring effective collaboration between all stakeholders
- Develop and implement VDC strategies to enhance project delivery and efficiency
- Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure accurate integration of systems
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for drafting and detailing plumbing systems
- Oversee the fabrication processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and contractors
- Conduct regular project reviews and update stakeholders on progress and challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Proven experience in VDC processes and project management
- Strong mechanical background with a focus on plumbing systems
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD for design and drafting
- Experience in piping, fabrication, and detailing is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
