Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will lead BI projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
• Lead Business Intelligence projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance data pipelines and optimize processes.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret data from various structured and unstructured sources.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed business decisions.
• Ensure data compliance and security by working closely with Data Governance teams.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated data models to generate actionable insights.
• Mentor and support team members who are newer to BI best practices and methodologies.
• Propose and implement improvements to the existing BI infrastructure.
• Integrate BI tools with other business systems to streamline operations.
• Translate data findings into strategic recommendations for business growth.• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or a related field, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and nested queries.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, including Power Query transformations, DAX measures, and creating user-friendly visualizations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address architectural and business challenges.
• Proven experience in data analysis, data preparation, and statistical interpretation techniques.
• Familiarity with BI technologies such as BusinessObjects, Cognos, and Informatica.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and meet business requirements.
