Purpose of the Job:

Replacements, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will assist with the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of our property, buildings, and equipment, playing a critical part in keeping our facility running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position suited for a skilled trades professional who takes pride in their work and thrives working in a team.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain and enhance the overall condition and appearance of buildings, grounds, and equipment, including exterior maintenance.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery.
• Support the electrical team with wire pulls, conduit runs, or related tasks under supervision.
• Respond promptly to code red and spill response situations.
• Transport company vehicles for service appointments and internal pickups, including operation of a 26-foot truck.
• Collaborate closely with the Facilities Manager and Facilities Coordinator to execute priorities effectively.
• Provide support to Maintenance Assistants and Recycling Specialists as operational needs arise.

What We're Looking For:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building trades
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment including concrete scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers
• General understanding of machinery operations and repair
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently following established procedures
• Strong commitment to safety — you follow regulations and use the appropriate protective equipment without exception
• Ability to balance speed and quality to meet daily operational goals
• Flexibility to adapt as priorities shift in a dynamic environment
• Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions and communicate effectively with management in English
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a 26-foot truck
• Ability to learn and safely operate equipment including scissor lifts and wave equipment

Physical Requirements:

This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must be able to:

• Frequently lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• Push, pull, and maneuver tool carts and work carts
• Climb ladders regularly
• Perform moderate to intense physical labor both indoors and outdoors

Education and Other Specialized Skills:

• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be able to drive a 26-foot truck.
