Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler with extensive experience in stone setting, repairs, and custom fabrication. The ideal candidate is proficient with hand tools, power tools, and laser welding, and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential, as you'll be working closely with our shop manager in a collaborative workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level bench work, including repairs, resizing, and custom fabrication
- Set diamonds and gemstones using various techniques with precision and care
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including a laser welder
- Work closely with the shop manager and designer on custom projects and workflow
- Complete jobs on time while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional bench jeweler experience
- Proficient in laser welding, soldering, and all types of stone setting
- Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing and repair techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
