What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain the business continuity process, ensuring documentation is accurate, systems are up to date, and security processes are implemented daily.
  • Coordinate and test business continuity procedures to ensure organizational resilience.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT security standards and best practices across the organization.
  • Investigate IT security incidents and recommend effective solutions.
  • Monitor emerging IT security trends and assess third-party application vulnerabilities.
  • Plan and execute IT security projects, including assessments and remediation of findings.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and review system security.
  • Manage and maintain security technologies, including Intrusion Detection (IDS), Intrusion Prevention (IPS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and encryption solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure systems are secure and resilient against potential threats.

Work Schedule

Flexible schedule available Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM

On-site presence required at our Grand Rapids office at least three days per week

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT security administration required.
  • Knowledge of the HIPAA Security Rule and HITECH Act and their impact on IT security practices.
  • Preferred certifications: Security+, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • General knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Technical knowledge of network security solutions management and analysis.
