School Bus Driver & Bus Monitor – Join Our Growing Team!

Gateway Transportation of NY is looking for dependable, caring, and safety-focused School Bus Drivers and Bus Monitors to join our growing team transporting students throughout the Capital Region.

School Bus Driver Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment on the bus.
- Follow all DOT, New York State, and company safety regulations.
Bus Monitor Responsibilities
- Assist students while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
- Help ensure student safety and appropriate behavior.
- Work closely with the driver to provide safe and reliable transportation.
- Assist students with special needs as required.
Qualifications
Drivers:
- Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements (or willingness to obtain one if training is offered)
- Clean driving record
- Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
Monitors:
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoy working with children
- Pass required background screening
