Location: Chestnut Ridge, NY (100% On-Site)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Bilingual Spanish: Strong plus
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom & Facilities Support Associate for our Chestnut Ridge, NY location. This role supports daily mail operations, light facilities maintenance, and general office support. Training will be provided for all equipment and processes, including use of the Xerox copier for printing manuals.
Key Responsibilities
Mailroom Operations
- Print and assemble manuals using the Xerox copier (training provided)
- Sort, organize, and deliver all incoming mail to appropriate departments
- Collect, prepare, and process outgoing mail and packages
- Monitor and maintain mailroom supplies including stamps, copy paper, envelopes, etc.
Facilities & General Maintenance
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting, changing light bulbs, and basic repairs
- Assist with minor plumbing needs, including resolving leaks and clogs
- Help ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility
- Report any major maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Prior mailroom, facilities, or office support experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move mail and supply items as needed
- Comfortable learning basic copier/printing functions (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant plus
Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
