As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of heavy and light machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. Your role will also include the upkeep of buildings and grounds, ensuring the quality and productivity of equipment, and providing a safe and healthy workplace.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Repair and maintain buildings and grounds.
- Ensure the quality and productivity of equipment.
- Monitor equipment, buildings, and grounds daily.
- Perform periodic maintenance and planned repairs.
- Respond promptly and effectively to breakdowns and time constraints.
- Maintain an orderly maintenance shop.
- Identify and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Work and interact with machine and forklift operators.
- Meet and plan with management as needed.
Essential Skills
- Electrical knowledge and experience in high voltage 480V, three-phase electricity, and low voltage electricity.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
- Experience in metal fabrication and welding.
- Knowledge of Programmable Controls and Electronic Logic systems.
- Familiarity with compressors, hydraulic motors, hoses, and couplings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to maintain equipment control panels and switches.
- Experience in blueprint reading and PLC troubleshooting.

Work in an outdoor environment within an aluminum powder manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and promoting machine and facility safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmerton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
