Job Title: Infrastructure Application and Database Subject Matter Expert (SME) -Intermediate

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA / Washington DC/ Hybrid

Summary:

The program is modernizing financial management by replacing legacy systems with a unified ERP and advanced cloud-based analytics platform. It provides Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) support for the DAI program and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS 12.2.x), replacing the current Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) to improve reporting, user experience, governance, security, and overall operational efficiency through enhanced data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Provides expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills. Has strong command of the English language. Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative and ingenious. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Provides IT services in multiple technical areas (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research). Administers and troubleshoots Oracle EBS Financial ERP, Oracle Database, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Single Sign-On (SSO)/Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Hyperion, Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) software, Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK), and Oracle Governance, Risk, Compliance tools, and cloning. Implements Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), Active Dataguard, Golden Gate, and database performance tuning within the Oracle EBS environment. Provides technical writing to ensure all reports and deliverables are delivered with timeliness and quality to the government.

Requirements:

  • Seven (7) years of experience
  • Have supported DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on an Oracle EBS R12.2 platform or higher
  • Has strong command of the English language
  • Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission
  • DoD 8570.01-M Certification: DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification is required for this position (Reference: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications)
  • IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II
  • IA Baseline Certification: DOD 8570 Approved Baseline Certifications
  • CE/OS Certificate: DLA Approved CS CE List_v30. Certification must be applicable to the Oracle based DAI Application Environment
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
