A facility is seeking anesthesiology locum coverage starting in April, with ongoing PRN needs from May onward. Various shifts are available, including 10-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and a 14-hour beeper call shift. Trauma shifts require 24-hour in-house coverage, and there are first-call and second-call options. The facility operates three ORs with no CRNA supervision required, and providers will work solo. This Level 2 trauma center uses Epic EMR, handles approximately 1,700 cases annually, and requires ACLS and BLS certifications. Candidates should be comfortable with trauma, OB, vascular, neuro, joints, regional blocks, thoracic, possible pediatrics, and weekend/call coverage.
