MAIN GOAL
The Floor Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting team members to achieve, times of execution and schedule compliance to carry out every project in MOCA successfully.
Travel is required - up to 90%.
90% is required due to assignment being on site/physical location, living in temporary housing-hotel during some weeks. (4-6 weeks)
General responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of workers, including their work schedules, resources, equipment, project progress, and allocation roles by providing constructive feedback that ensures the quality guidelines and standardization processes.
2. Train staff to perform allocated roles.
3. Support the Project Manager (daily report) by anticipating the upcoming needs (material, tools, or personnel), coordinating, and carrying out analyses corresponding to the site and vision of the current project to ensure deadlines are met.
4. Be responsible for the proper use of resources such as tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely, in accordance with procedures, and maintained in good conditions.
5. Identify and mitigate job risks following OSHA.
6. Supervise the correct use of PPE.
• OSHA – 10 or OSHA – 30 (preferred)
• Heavy machinery (forklift, scissor lift).
• Fire extinguisher /Fire safety preferred.
• CPR and first aid.
• General contractor license preferred.
• Certifications or accreditations related to leadership or management.
