Location: Leander, TX (Austin Area)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – Finish (Full-Time)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong industrial experience and the ability to support general facilities maintenance. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment while ensuring the overall upkeep of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveying systems, and transmission systems
- Troubleshoot and repair production-related machinery
- Fabricate parts for equipment repairs as needed
- Remove and replace defective components using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools
- Perform preventative maintenance and train team members on routine procedures
- Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure a safe working environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and production systems
- Experience with AC/DC drives, servo drives, and PLC/HMI systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and blueprints
- Proficient with tools and equipment including:
- Clamp meters (AC/DC amperage)
- Multimeters
- Grinders, drills, and cutting torches
- Hand and power tools
- Familiarity with valves, lubrication systems, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to climb ladders, twist, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school or college training preferred
- Completion of an industrial maintenance apprenticeship is a plus
Work Environment:
- Industrial setting with both equipment and facility responsibilities
- Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
