Job DescriptionMarathon Staffing is seeking candidates for multiple temp-to-perm, Assembler positions available immediately in Salisbury NC!
This is a long-term, full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth. We are hiring immediately and encourage dependable, hard-working individuals to apply.
Please note – This position is in Salisbury NC. Team members must have reliable transportation.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Overtime opportunities available on Saturday
Pay
Starting at $16.00/hour Plus production
Requirements include, but may not be limited to:
-MUST have prior experience with nail guns!!
-Prior experience with manufacturing
- Experience working with lumber
- Working knowledge of basic math and reading tape measures
- Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions.
- Demonstrate ability to use and operate hand tools and other equipment as required.
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Must have reliable transportation to SALISBURY, NC
Responsibilities
- Completes work area setup
- Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standards
- Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
- Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished product
- Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
- Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Maintains production records as required
- Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards
- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Follow detailed instructions and work under supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
