Primary Services is seeking a talented and dedicated Network Field Technician to join our team. As a Network Field Technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch installation, support, and maintenance services to our valued customers.
The Network Field Technician is responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and professional services, including configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of network switches and UPS.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure and install network switches and UPS.
- Assist with troubleshooting network tickets.
- Maintain Company Nodes and Hubs to specifications.
- Conduct OTDR/JDSU-RFC Testing.
- Provide support to outside fiber contractors.
- Perform installation, optimization, and preventative maintenance for company equipment.
- Test and analyze network coverage, integrity, and quality.
- Troubleshoot and improve network performance, isolating root causes of interference.
- Conduct routine grounds and building maintenance related to equipment connectivity.
- Integrate network hardware into customer networks, interconnecting facilities across multiple telecommunications companies.
- Make recommendations to engineering for network coverage and implementation improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Working knowledge of IPV4/6, Ethernet, WAN, and LAN.
- Sophisticated understanding of routing configuration, IP routing tables, Gateway connection, data communications, digital communication operating systems, and associated apps.
- Willingness to work overtime and accept on-call assignments regularly.
- Experience with project management is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Apps.
- Must have a Texas driver’s license and a clear MVR.
