Target Salary Range*: $171,000-$190,000

*This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

Position Overview

The Program Security Representative III provides multi-discipline security support for one or more of the customer’s Special Access Programs (SAPs). The position provides day-to-day multi-discipline analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations and Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.
  • Provide day-to-day security support, including continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
  • Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.

Operations Security and Facility Oversight

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.
  • Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.
  • Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.
  • Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.

Security Briefings and Investigations

  • Brief personnel at all levels, including government and senior civilian service personnel, on a variety of security-related topics.
  • Conduct investigations into any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information, including preliminary inquiries and damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
  • Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education and awareness program.

Team Leadership

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members.

QualificationsClearance

  • TS/SCI clearance [Required].
  • Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree [Required].
  • Four years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree [Required].

Experience

  • 10–12 years of related experience [Required].
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward no more than 5 years of experience [Required].
  • 2+ years of SAP experience [Required].
